J. Mark Taylor, a senior risk/reliability engineer for ABS Consulting, has more than 36 years of experience in systems design and analysis work for the petroleum, chemical, and manufacturing industries. He manages, performs, and documents process hazard analyses (PHAs) and risk assessments (qualitative and quantitative); conducts audits to assess compliance with OSHA’s process safety management (PSM) regulation, EPA’s risk management program (RMP) rule, and other industry initiatives; and performs consequence analysis and dispersion modeling for hazardous material releases. He has led PHAs, PSM/RMP audits, and risk assessments for a wide range of clients in the refining, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, and mechanical manufacturing industries.
Before joining ABS Consulting, Mr. Taylor held management positions in both engineering and operations in manufacturing facilities. Mr. Taylor holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Tennessee (inactive status).
