Develop and Implement an OSHA PSM Program with our 3-Phase Approach to Process Safety Management
Following a strategy that has been successful with other clients, ABS Group recommends a three-phase approach to support clients as they develop and implement PSM/RMP systems at their facilities.
Phase 1: Conduct PSM/Accident Prevention Assessment
Phase 2: Develop/Improve Selected PSM Programs
Phase 3: Execute Specific PSM Activities
COMAH and SEVESO III Regulations
The Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) and Seveso III regulations in the UK and Europe require companies handling highly hazardous materials to identify the hazards that exist, the measures in place to control these hazards, the programs in place to maintain the integrity and assure the reliability of equipment and protective features, and to demonstrate that the risks of a major accident are being controlled to a reasonable level.

Safety Culture
An effective safety culture is one in which people do the right thing, all the time, even when no one is watching. To drive this level of performance, factors like management beliefs, values, myths and company policies and procedures must be aligned and reinforce those values.
Responding to unsafe behavior with corrective actions and activities like training and communication that build employee involvement and buy-in are powerful influences that strengthen an organization's safety culture.
Our Capabilities:
Having spent decades supporting organizations with RCA and Human Factors, our experts identified a gap in understanding safety culture and launched Cultural Cause Analysis™.
