Port Security Grant Program (PSGP)
Security Grant Funding for Maritime Cybersecurity
As the cyber threat landscape continues to evolve, it requires new capabilities in cyber risk management (CRM). To support the development and implementation of cybersecurity programs that address today's landscape, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing funding opportunities through the Port Security Grant Program (PSGP).
The funding for fiscal year 2021 is US $100,000,000 and is now available to support cybersecurity projects as a national priority and build cyber defenses and controls for Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) regulated facilities. Example projects include cybersecurity risk assessments, improved cybersecurity of critical infrastructure and cybersecurity training and planning.
The program provides funds to state, territorial, local and private sector partners to support increased port-wide risk management.
