ABS Consulting and S&K Mission Support Join Forces Under the SBA Mentor-Protégé Program
Joint venture, Snow Eagle Group, will enable small businesses to compete more successfully for federal government contracts
(Houston) – To aid the Federal Government in expanding its base of qualified small businesses, S&K Mission Support (SKMS) and ABSG Consulting Inc. (ABS Consulting) jointly announced that they entered the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Mentor-Protégé program. The SBA program is designed to enhance the capability of small business participants to successfully compete for federal government contracts. The partnership is enhanced by the establishment of a joint venture titled Snow Eagle Group.
“We are extremely proud to collaborate with SKMS and share our expertise gained through four decades of government contracting as part of the SBA Mentor-Protégé program,” said Jake Stenzler, Vice President of Government for ABS Consulting. “The information technology (IT) and engineering capabilities that SKMS will bring to our joint offerings will be critical to meeting the unique needs of our current and future customers.”
ABS Consulting has been providing risk and reliability services to numerous civilian and defense agencies, including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Energy (DOE) and the United States Navy. ABS Consulting has a dynamic and agile team with diverse backgrounds including multi-disciplinary engineers, domain experts, data scientists and management consultants that develop solutions for complex operational challenges so their clients can operate with confidence in an uncertain world.
SKMS, the program protégé, is a SBA Section 8(a) tribally-owned small business providing services for the federal government and private sector in the aerospace and energy industries. It supports critical programs for agencies within the Department of Defense (DOD), DOE and DOT, offering business oversight, as well as technical, administrative, IT and engineering services.
“We are thrilled with this mentor-protégé relationship and even more so with the formation of the joint venture. This endeavor brings together a world-class team of experienced professionals who can deliver the exceptional support the federal government is seeking,” said John Denny, SKMS President. “This includes cybersecurity, enterprise IT services, systems engineering & integration (SE&I), engineering analysis and supply chain management.”
