Fernando Pimenta
Fernando Pimenta is Global Program Manager for the SA8000 Standard Certification Program at ABS Quality Evaluations (ABS QE). He is responsible for the maintenance of ABS QE Accreditation with the Social Accountability Accreditation Services (SAAS) organization and works closely with ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). Pimenta is an experienced chemical production engineer specializing in environmental management. He is knowledgeable in management systems of industries and services provision, and quality and productivity consulting. Pimenta oversees the management system in ABS QE's Brazil office, including management of internal audits and corrective actions, maintenance of auditors' qualifications and coordination of Certification Operations in South America.
