Nick Obando is the Director of Asset Integrity Management at ABS Group, where he leads a team of global engineering and technical specialists dedicated to helping industry clients improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their asset management programs. For 11 years, Nick and his team have used risk-based approaches to assess, develop and implement reliability, integrity and process safety programs that allow clients to realize a return on investment and achieve an overall risk reduction.
His approach to a holistic asset management program that includes all asset types, corporate and facility personnel and data management programs leads clients to reimagine their operating and maintenance strategy. Nick is a degreed Mechanical Engineer from Texas A&M.
Michael Marshall, PE., Product Development Manager, Metegrity
Michael Marshall, PE., is the Product Development Manager at Metegrity with over 40 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry, first with Chevron (10 years), then with Marathon Petroleum (23 years). Mike directs the productization and commercialization of the Asset Integrity Process Safety Management (AIPSM) product.
Mike's holistic experience in oil and gas includes plant and project engineering, operations, maintenance and equipment inspection/reliability supervisory and managerial positions. Mike speaks with authority on Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC) incidents, as well as process optimization methodology based on Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), to help quantify the economic impact of equipment anomalies.
