Webinar
Integrating Sustainability and Climate Impact Into ISO Management Systems
Participants will gain an understanding of how international standards play a crucial role in the global economy, as stated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in its London Declaration (September 2021). We will review the content of the 60 amendments made to the standards in February 2024. To fully understand the amendments and their impact on management systems, we will explore concepts such as climate change, sustainable development goals, circular economy, life cycle and carbon footprint. These concepts help explain how best practices in environmental management should be implemented.
Finally, we will examine the recommendations for auditing climate change impact considerations on management systems, according to the document issued by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) in March 2024. Considering this review, it is clear that organizations need to take urgent measures to help adapt their management systems to climate change.
