How Ultrasonic NDE Technology is Transforming Yacht and Boating Industries
Same Assets, New Solution
Have you heard? The yacht and boating industry now has a new tool to find and measure disbonds, delaminations, fabrication and repair defects and other service-related damages.
Originally developed for NASA, this Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) technology can successfully scan layered and homogenous composite materials for defects, offering unprecedented visibility into the integrity of these materials.
ABS Group holds an exclusive global licensing agreement for this advanced technology. In this webinar, we'll discuss how embracing this new game-changing technology can provide quality assurance and integrity management throughout the lifecycle of yachts and boats.
What We Cover:
-
A demo of UNDE Technology for multi-layered composite Yachts and Boats.
-
The benefits of incorporating this technology during fabrication, transfer of ownership, insurance claims, repairs and overall surveillance and integrity management.
-
How combining NDT technology with a risk-based approach reduces operational risk and maintenance costs and enhances safety.
-
New and expanding applications of NDT technology in the marine and offshore industry.
