James J. Rooney is the Director of Training Services for the Oil, Gas and Chemical Division of ABS Group. He has more than 40 years of experience in training, keynoting, human factors, root cause analysis, quality, risk assessment, process safety management and enterprise risk management. Jim is a Past Chair of the Board of Directors of ASQ and holds 10 ASQ certifications. He is an ASQ Fellow, a reviewer for Quality Progress magazine, a columnist for Six Sigma Forum magazine and Associate Editor for The Journal for Quality and Participation. He was named a Jack Daniel's Tennessee Squire for his contributions to the quality profession. Jim is also a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
