Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering at ABS Consulting, Joe Kelly leads our Global Engineering team across multiple sectors, including Offshore and Marine, managing key projects and enhancing the technical capabilities of the organization. The team specializes in complex CAPEX and OPEX engineering projects that support the risk management needs of our clients serving the global critical infrastructure.

With over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry, including twelve-plus years in the commercial operator sector, Joe began his tenure with the company in 2006 at our parent organization, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). Holding numerous positions including Surveyor, District Manager of Operations and Vice President of North America Operations, he was responsible for over 250 Surveyors stationed in the United States and Canada. Joe became Vice President of Maritime Solutions for the ABS Wavesight subsidiary prior to joining ABS Group in 2024.
